Forest Stewardship Council United States office is located in Washington, D.C, and has a national presence through the work of its board, regional standards coordinators, and FSC members located throughout the U.S. The role of the FSCUS is to coordinate the development of forest stewardship standards throughout the country, to provide public information about certification and FSC, to provide a national dispute resolution mechanism, and to monitor certification organizations to ensure compliance with FSC requirements.
